Electrician serving Palatine, IL since 2011

HD Electric Design is a family-owned and operated electrical company serving the Chicagoland area with over 15 years of hands-on experience. We are also proud to be a woman-owned, local small business built on honest work and real relationships. From day one, our goal has been simple: show up, do the job right, and treat every home like it's our own.

For Hubert, electricity started as curiosity and grew into a career-long commitment. What began as an introduction to the trade quickly became a passion he could not walk away from. He pursued full licensure and spent years sharpening his skills across a wide range of residential electrical work. That dedication is the foundation everything else is built on.

We handle everything from lighting upgrades and electrical panel replacements to EV charger installation, backup generators, smart home systems, and full rewiring projects. Whether you need a single outlet added or a complete service upgrade, we bring the same level of care and attention to every job. We are also a registered Electric Vehicle Service Provider (EVSP) with ComEd, so homeowners across the area can count on us for qualified EV charger installs.

Our team serves communities throughout the northwest and north suburbs, including Barrington, Vernon Hills, Libertyville, Buffalo Grove, Arlington Heights, Palatine, Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Wheeling, Mundelein, Lake Zurich, Elk Grove Village, Rolling Meadows, Mount Prospect, Elgin, Wooddale, Huntley, Roselle, Rosemont, and the broader Chicagoland area. If you are nearby and need a licensed electrician you can trust, there is a good chance we already work in your neighborhood.

What sets us apart is not just the technical work. It is the way we communicate, follow through, and stand behind what we do. We are available Monday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and our phones are monitored and answered around the clock. When something goes wrong with your electrical system, you should not have to wait until Monday morning to talk to someone.

Every project we take on gets the same care we would give our own home. That is not a slogan. It is how we were raised to work, and it is how we intend to keep working. Call us today at (224) 386-9762 or email admin@hdedesign.com to request your estimate.
